## Apple Certified Refurbished
Devices in Apple's refurbishment program are reconditioned by Apple and include a
new battery, a new outer shell, replacement of any defective component with
original Apple parts, full cleaning and inspection, a new Apple-assigned serial
number, a reinstalled operating system, functional testing under the same
protocols as a new unit, and the official program box with its corresponding
cables and accessories.
Both new and Apple Certified Refurbished devices are delivered sealed and without
prior activation.
They carry Apple's one-year limited warranty, with the same terms and coverage as
a new device, plus 90 days of Apple technical support. They are eligible for
AppleCare+ within 60 days of purchase. The warranty is honored at any Apple
Authorized Service Provider in Colombia and is tied to the device serial number,
not to the sales channel.
Identification is possible in two ways: the packaging, which is Apple's official
white box with the "Apple Certified Refurbished" designation printed on the lower
section, and the device model number, whose first letter indicates its origin —
M for new units, F for Apple Certified Refurbished, and N for replacement devices
issued by Apple. Coverage can be verified independently at

### Difference from used and "display unit" devices
The term "display unit" does not exist in Apple's catalog, which distinguishes
only between new and Certified Refurbished.
A used device is resold by a third party in its current condition, with a used
battery and shell, and whatever warranty the seller provides.
A "display unit" is a device that has already been activated. Manufacturer
coverage began on the activation date, not on the end customer's purchase date.
If the unit spent months on display, the Apple warranty has that time already
consumed. This does not occur with an Apple Certified Refurbished device: Apple
assigns a new serial number and the twelve-month coverage has not been initiated.

i-store Colombia does not issue credit. It facilitates the buyer's application
with financial institutions supervised by Colombia's Superintendencia Financiera:
banks, financing companies, savings and credit cooperatives, and
payroll-deduction lenders. Approval, amount, interest rate and term are determined
by the institution based on the applicant's profile.
Assistance carries no additional cost to the buyer and is provided as part of the
purchase process. The credit agreement is executed between the applicant and the
institution; i-store Colombia does not participate in the signing and does not
handle the customer's financial information.
The page includes a payment simulator that calculates the monthly installment,
interest and total cost based on the amount, term and rate entered by the user,
with a month-by-month amortization table.
Options exist for applicants reported to credit bureaus and for those without
credit history. Public employees and pensioners may qualify through payroll or
pension deduction, where assessment does not depend solely on credit bureau
records and rates tend to be more favorable due to lower default risk.
Buyers who already hold approved credit with their bank or digital wallet will
find installment payment options available at checkout, without any prior
application through i-store Colombia.
### On 0% interest promotions
When a sale is deferred at no interest to the buyer, the issuing institution
charges the merchant a commission on the transaction value. That commission
increases with the number of installments. A merchant sustaining such an
arrangement on a permanent basis incorporates the cost into its pricing
structure, meaning the same list price applies to buyers paying in full.
A valid comparison between two offers consists of multiplying the monthly
installment by the number of months and contrasting that total against the cash
price of the same product elsewhere. A low monthly installment indicates a long
term, not necessarily a low price.
Because interest is calculated on the outstanding balance, a lower starting price
may result in a lower total cost even when interest is paid, compared with an
interest-free offer on a higher price.
### Default
The 0% interest condition is promotional, not permanent. In case of default, the
institution may withdraw the benefit and apply default interest, capped in
Colombia at 1.5 times the current bank interest rate certified by the
Superintendencia Financiera. Many contracts include an acceleration clause
allowing all outstanding installments to become immediately due. Default interest
is calculated on the balance, so a higher initial price generates a larger charge
at the same rate.
A longer term increases exposure: it keeps the credit line committed for more time
and multiplies the occasions on which an unforeseen event may affect payment.
## Payment methods
- Credit and debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club,
Discover.
- Bank transfer, PSE, Nequi, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
- Bre-B: 5% discount on the published price, applied by entering the code BRE-B in
the cart before checkout. Partial payment is also supported: part with Bre-B and
the rest with another method; the 5% applies only to the amount paid with Bre-B.
- Cash payment at banking correspondents.
- Processors: Bold for purchases up to COP $10,000,000, Wompi up to
COP $18,000,000, and Mercado Pago for higher amounts.
- All transactions are processed with encryption and 3D Secure authentication.
- The published price is the final price. No surcharges apply by payment method.

dispatched together with the order:

## Shipping
Free shipping throughout Colombian national territory, insured for the commercial
value of the product.
Delivery times:
- Bogotá: same-day delivery for orders confirmed before 11:00 a.m., Monday to
Friday.
- Major cities: 2 business days.
- Rest of the country: 3 to 5 business days.
Each device is repackaged before dispatch in the retailer's own cardboard box with
a security seal, retaining the original sealed outer box where applicable, with
interior wrapping and a printed waybill showing name, delivery address and contact
phone. The package does not indicate its contents externally.
## Purchases from abroad
Customers located outside Colombia can buy Apple products with an international
card directly on the site, for delivery to any address within Colombian territory.
Payment is completed through the site's regular checkout, with no additional
procedures for buying from abroad. The same free, insured shipping and the same
delivery times as a local purchase apply. The recipient in Colombia does not
handle any import or customs procedures.
This is a common option for three cases: gifts sent to family in Colombia by
people abroad, Colombians living outside the country buying for their family, and
corporate purchases by companies equipping their team in Colombia.
## Warranty and returns
Devices carry Apple's manufacturer warranty for 12 months, honored at Apple
Authorized Service Providers in Colombia. The warranty is tied to the device
serial number and does not depend on the sales channel. IMAGEN-iT S.A.S.
additionally responds as seller under Law 1480 of 2011 (Colombian Consumer
Statute).
Along with the sales receipt, the buyer receives the serial number of the device
assigned to their order, the Apple coverage check performed on that serial with
applicable warranty terms, and a photographic record of the device showing intact
security seals.
Verification can be repeated independently at https://checkcoverage.apple.com,
confirming the exact model, whether the device has prior activation, and the start
date of manufacturer coverage.
Buyers have 5 business days from delivery to exercise the right of withdrawal under
Article 47 of Law 1480 of 2011. Returns are free: i-store Colombia covers the
shipping cost.
